GSN Games is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Boston!
About the Ops Team:

The GSN Games DevOps team implements and supports the hundreds of servers and services used by our internal users and external game players.

What You’ll Do:

On the DevOps Team, our DevOps Engineers work closely with our Engineering teams to deploy and support great game experiences for our players. We integrate the systems, databases, and code that make up all aspects of the user experience. In this position, you will have to solve and help others solve complex problems. You will not simply be implementing someone else's code, you will collaborate with the Product, DevOps, and Development teams to architect, plan, and execute these implementations.

About You:

You have experience with Infrastructure as Code and working with cloud providers. You have worked with containers and container orchestration platforms before. You bring a positive attitude to collaborating with Software Engineering teams and you can effectively ensure products are implemented with supportability in mind. You are a self-starter who is able to recommend new products, technologies, or workflows for the DevOps team to investigate and implement.

Expertise and Experience:

· Deploying and supporting containers in a production environment

· Network engineering skills in public cloud environments

· Ability to troubleshoot, document, and assist developers in the design of scalable RESTful APIs

· Expertise in Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Chef or other configuration management tools

· Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer, or other infrastructure management tools

· Expertise in design and operation of SQL databases for scalable services

· Experience implementing and operating scalable and fault-tolerant cloud based solutions

· Ability to write and collaborate on clean, manageable, and reusable code using Python, Perl, Bash, or other languages

· Experience working directly with development teams on scaling Internet facing products

· Ability to analyze existing internal products and propose enhancements to stability and interoperability

Requirements:

· 4+ years of professional work experience

· Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent work experience

· This position will participate in our 24x7 production on call rotation
