DevOps Engineer - New Sci-fi FPS IP

Creative Assembly’s award-winning team behind Alien: Isolation are exploring new frontiers with a brand-new and exciting First-Person Shooter IP.
This is an excellent opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join our talented production team at our studio in Horsham, based in heart of Sussex, England.
In this exciting role, you will work alongside our Tools Teams to support the development of the game through activities such as developing and administering the CI and Perforce systems that package and deploy builds, running tests and other automated tasks which enable us to ship our brand-new game.
To be successful in this role, you will be forward-thinking, pro-active and autonomous in your problem-solving and communication with various development teams, QA and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As DevOps Engineer, you will liaise with the Tools and Release teams to formulate plans and infrastructure to help with the fast and effective delivery of builds to the wider team. You will work closely with the development teams to continually look for improvements in current processes support the roll-out new features and finding new ways to optimise our streams.
You will be open, friendly, and approachable and be a nexus of information on the project and collaborate and communicate with developers across the team from all disciplines.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Create and administer our Perforce streams for on-going development across the project teams
- Be responsible for creating build distribution systems
- Script our CI system (comprising of build and test pipelines) using C# and Python
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure that the hardware for distributed build systems can match demand
- Support development and tools teams in various software and CI related issues, script changes and requests.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Solid and demonstrable C# and Python experience
- Very good working knowledge of Perforce (Helix)
- Administering CI systems such as Jenkins or Teamcity
- A solid technical foundation - e.g. Computer Science / Maths degree or equivalent
- Forward thinker and problem-solver with the drive to seek out and acquire information
Desirable
- Working with large teams (50+ users)
- Solid C++ skills
- Experience using UE4
- Experience with Database systems such as SQL, Elasticsearch or MongoDB
- Experience with post launch title support
- AWS experience
- Git experience
