DevOps Build Engineer

Description

The CPE team is looking for an accomplished DevOps Engineer to join our team. We are looking for experience in both CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code and passion for technology. Reporting to a Engineer Lead, you will create and maintain tools to support internal customers - EADP's product, and content teams. You should enjoy solving complex problems and have a good foundation in programming.

Responsibilities

• Work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements
• Create and maintain pipelines and workflow tools
• Write application code to enhance several tools in the system
• Collaborate with team-mates to enhance an automation pipeline
• Monitor automation systems and respond to support requests/outages
• Manage virtual infrastructure, including deploying and monitoring containers
• You will analyze metrics to improve automation systems
• Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine the feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company products

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of DevOps
• 4+ years experience with source-control administration (eg. Git)
• Foundational programming skills
• Configuration Management and Continuous Integration/Deployment
• Cloud deployments (eg. AWS)
• Container technologies (eg. Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
• Infrastructure automation tools (eg. Helm, Terraform)
• Monitoring Tools (eg. CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty)
• System administration (eg. OSX, Linux)

Bonus

• Experience with secrets management tools (e.g. Hashicorp Vault)
• Experience with artifact management tools (e.g. JFrog Artifactory)
• Experience with container orchestration and microservice management tools (e.g Kubernetes)
