DevOps position is a key role in Playtika that takes part in development and design of microservices, projecting it to infrastructure and environment requirements. It includes troubleshooting, releases, capacity planning, different aspects of software development standards combined with configuration management and containers approach.

DataOps position is for team players that have a broad understanding of data pipelines, data formats, system architecture, computers, and networking. It includes abstract concepts and drilling down to incidents and performance optimization of all data development in the organization. Partners include BI developers, Data engineers, Product managers, IT specialists and strategy and management of the organization. All these players are always curious about the data infrastructure of the organization that the DataOps person maintains, develops, and plans.

You’re at the right place - Playtika Academy Dev/Data Ops trainee program is looking for candidates.

Requirements and knowledge requirements:

• Basic Linux understanding (administration experience is an advantage)
• Experience in IT industry
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP stack
• Entry-level SQL skills
• Basic scripting skills (Bash/Python is an advantage)
• English intermediate

Skills:

• Curiosity;
• Ability to use Google/Stackoverflow for technical investigations
• Technical ‘hunch’
• Communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Technical background that entailed dealing with clients, errors and fixing them
• Experience with VCS (Git is an advantage)
• GitHub or Open source project experience
• CS or engineering degree, Information systems background
• Understanding of basic computer networks and OSI, model
• Experience working in cloud environments
• Basic understanding of NOSQL and MQ solutions
• Any experience with Containers/Virtualization
