Streamline Games is searching for video game detectives with eyes as sharp as an eagle and words as objective as a scientist. As part of the team, you will have a chance to work alongside all manners of our production team from Design, Art, Programming and all the way to Sound and Music. Your role would be to execute test plans and conduct testing to ensure all game features meets Streamline's standards and requirements. Be the first person in the world to test out new and experimental features that our team invents and have the privilege of telling us if it sucks!

- Test the functionality and usability of new features throughout various development phases
- Must be able to learn, comprehend and apply new concepts, techniques and procedures quickly
- Work at a fast pace on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solve to achieve the best possible results while working within the confines of unfinished technology

- Communicates regularly with the team regarding the status of current features in testing and give objective feedback on functionality and fun factor
- Work with varying levels of supervision and creative direction, ranging from complete autonomy to working with a director to capture specific requests.
- Log findings in Test database as per QA standards.
- Pro-actively obtains guidance from Project leads as required

- Work as unintrusive as possible from the development team
- Arrange for playtesting sessions as necessary
- Identify and propose in-engine tools that can be used to further improve the workflow of testing
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong applied knowledge of QA methodologies, terminology, and tools
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 and a willingness to learn other game engines as necessary
- Experience with console development is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English), being able to explain technical solutions clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of Test databases like – JIRA or Test Rail etc.
- Knowledge of revision database management tools (Perforce, SVN)
- Knowledge of testing methodologies – Sanity, Smoke etc.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Understanding of the games industry landscape, market opportunities and player expectations
- Enjoys playing and making games
