THE ROLE

The Desktop Support Specialist will be responsible for the supporting the technical needs of the corporate employees. This role is critical to the ongoing productivity of our team and will report directly to our IT Manager in the Technology organization. Duties include:

Provision new user accounts, hardware, and software

Remedy calls and tickets for onsite and remote location support

Provide exceptional and timely support to the corporate team

Troubleshoot hardware and software on workstations and servers

Perform preventative maintenance and work with engineers to resolve issues

Run network cabling under desk and in ceilings

Maintain documentation

Assist with other IT projects as assigned

THE REQUIREMENTS

Three or more years of desktop support experience

Experience administrating Office 365 and administrating Active Directory

Working knowledge of OSX, Windows 10, and server 2016

Experience in Teleconference systems

Strong customer service skills with a passion to learn

Experience with building computers and troubleshooting each of their components

OS deployment automation for Mac and Windows.

Experience in VOIP systems

Virtualization

Linux experience

Networking fundamentals

BONUS SKILLS

4 - year degree in tech related field

Working knowledge of PowerShell

Cisco, Palo Alto, and Sonicwall experience

Azure experience
