As a UX/UI designer on the team, you will be working closely with our UX lead, game designers, engineers, and art leads to create outstanding gameplay experiences through clean, intuitive, and accessible UI. You will be an advocate of the players, championing usability and setting a high bar for Blizzard quality user experiences.

We need your help with:
- A deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and a passion for video games
- Independently creating user journeys, wireframes, information architecture, user flows, mockups and prototypes to communicate designs; and iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and playtests.
- Producing finished design specs with detailed requirements for the final game user interface
- Collaborating with UI engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented properly
- Ensuring our game’s UI is accessible to players with a wide range of abilities and experience
- Embracing Blizzard's core value of "Every voice matters," creating a safe
space for collaboration, communication, and creativity across all disciplines
and departments.
You’re good at:
- Pitching designs in a clear, detailed manner, through strong
written and verbal communication skills. - Balancing, prioritizing, and organizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Self-critiquing and accepting outside feedback.
- Being self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Extra awesome points for:
- Experience working on a AAA game
- Experience with Controller UI
- Experience implementing your designs in engine
- Enjoy playing a variety of video game genres and titles.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.
In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $105,598.00 - $143,376.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
