About the Role
We are looking for a Design Director - Motion Lead to join the Marketing Creative team in EMEA with a background in brand and digital design. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will focus on brand design and innovation, and understand how to impact culture by expressing the essence of brand through design. You are a champion of creative practice, and have a clear voice within the design community. You are passionate about building the Twitch brand, and you want to find novel ways to introduce Twitch to the world.
You're a visual designer, but also a thinker. You sweat the details, but never lose sight of the bigger picture. You're a master of your craft, but always look to explore new ways to explore yourself.
You Will:
- Have 7+ years of experience at agencies or in-house creative teams, 2+ of those leading design teams
- Work with creatives, writers, and strategists to set new standards in creative work
- Lead break-through brand expressions, campaign creative, and digital forward design
- Create best-in-class creative for Twitch's channels and marketing campaigns
- Ensure quality elevation in all aspects of creative execution
- Partner with teams across marketing to plan, concept, and design compelling content
- Bring optimism to the forefront and help create a compelling studio culture.
- Aid in identifying and onboarding key design partners
- Mentor designers in best practice, design process and ideation
- Understand the visual culture and how it shifts across European markets
You Have:
- Excellent conceptual and visual design skills
- Strong presentation skills , clearly articulating why specific creative decisions were made to stakeholders
- Experience building creative and design systems for 360 campaigns
- Strong perspective on creative culture and practice
- Team player with a willingness to jump in and get involved
- A hands-on approach, happy to craft the work yourself when needed
