Deputy ManagerSummary
The incumbent will support all talent management activities at AIDC. This will involve scoping, managing and executing our annual talent cycle, identification of HiPo employees and focusing on targeted development of the HiPo employees. Ensuring that our TM activities ensure progress and development of diverse talent.What you'll do
- High mobility & inclusive talent culture (30%)
- Scoping talent agenda for different levels, especially, band 400 and below with the help of P&C team.
- Setting the pace for annual talent cycles, getting managers and business partners upto speed on various talent activities.
- Undertaking initiatives to increase internal mobility of talent and making talent pools more inclusive.
- Carrying out IDP reviews for Band 400 HiPos on a regular basis.
- Competency Management (10%)
- Tracking critical competencies for the company, both technical and behavioral.
- Undertaking activities that facilitate development of these competencies.
- Talent assessments (15%)
- End to end management of talent assessments, ACDC processes, including orientation sessions for participating employees, dissemination of reports/outcomes and presenting actionable insights to managers/leaders.
- Talent data and reporting (10%)
- Managing all talent data, on both HRIS and decentralized worksheets.
- Facilitating reporting and easy access of talent data for each employee. Ensuring confidentiality and right use of personal data.
- HiPo Engagement (15%)
- Based on talent data, succession plans and critical positions, conceptualizing and executing high contact as well as low contact engagement strategies for HiPo.
- Supporting L&D (15%)
- Facilitating learning modules for participants to support the broader L&D initiatives and journeys.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in generalist or business partnering.
- At least 3 years of experience in a talent management specialist or advisory role.
- Experience of launching and managing complex employee engagement or developmental programs. Alternately experience in a consulting role.
- Consulting skills - Ability to form compelling logical arguments and see gaps in others’ arguments; ability to analyze and evaluate complex problems; make compelling presentations; write reports.
- Facilitation and coaching skills – Ability to train and facilitate small groups of people on learning agenda. Basic to intermediate understanding of adult learning principles. Ability to manage own emotions and empathize with others.
- Stakeholder management skills – ability to get along and build rapport with stakeholder, ability to handle upset stakeholders and diffuse tension; ability to present to and challenge senior stakeholders assertively
- Intermediate to advanced Excel data and reporting skills
- MBA in HR or Masters in Organisation Psychology
- Professional Certifications with respect to talent assessments, psychological testing, coaching/training and/or psychometrics are desirable.
