Blizzard Video is the video production arm of the Story & Franchise Development team. We exist to engage, inform, and activate the global Blizzard community through the creation of epic video content.
The (Capture) Department Producer is responsible for the management of team bandwidth, process, capture deliverables, and communication with the Game Teams. The Dept Producer, in conjunction with the Senior Manager and Lead Media Artist, will establish best practices, workflows and communication channels to ensure that projects and assets are moving fluidly through the entire pipeline. They will partner with Project Producers to establish production timelines, asset needs, and the scheduling of Capture resources.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.
What You Bring to the Table
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Manager and Lead Media Artist to manage staffing, bandwidth, assignments, and identify process adjustments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the artists on all production and priorities-related needs.
- Coordinate tools development and scheduling between Blizzard Video and the various Game Teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication with Game Teams to identify build statuses, build issues, features, and updates.
- Manage contracts with capture outsource vendors and contractors.
- Run daily standups and manage artist's daily assignments board.
- Own and coordinate B-Roll requests alongside Project Producers and Editorial.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years working in animation/vfx house post-production house, agency or film/television studio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Shotgun/Shotgrid or other Project management program

- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities and able to inspire this in others
- Self-starting with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with few to no errors or dropped details
- Attention to detail as well as the ability to understand the big picture
- Able to act with discretion when handling confidential matters
- Proven ability to create, track and maintain complex schedules
- Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to forge strong relationships within the department and across departments.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $26.83 - $49.63 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
