Tactile Games is looking for a data scientist with a strong knowledge of large scale data analysis and statistical modelling to join our performance marketing team.

As a data scientist at Tactile you will have the opportunity to work on large datasets (millions of users in our games), be a significant contributor to all our performance marketing activities and help optimize the performance of our games. We know the value of data and machine learning and strive to combine classical and leading edge approaches to make our games better every day. It is not a requirement that you have experience in the gaming industry, what we value most is your ability to use data to solve difficult problems.

You will be the primary link between our marketing and data science teams ensuring that we make informed decisions based on data.

General Responsibilities

  • Support and add value to our Performance Marketing team
  • Work alongside user acquisition managers and back-end developers in order to improve team efficiency
  • Designing experiments to verify assumptions and hypotheses
  • Designing new algorithmic approaches to solve difficult quantitative problems
  • Create and support data visualization.
  • Marketing optimization – Finding the best way to advertise to our customers to maximize engagement, click-throughs, and In App Purchases

Requirements

  • Experience using SQL to extract and transform large data-sets
  • Experience developing predictive models and algorithms using Python/R
  • Understanding of statistical concepts such as sampling, distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
  • Great attention to detail
  • Be independent and proactive
  • Team player – strong collaboration skills to support working across projects

The position is for full time employment, on-site and starting as soon as possible
