Data Scientist

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Data Scientist in Aliso Viejo, CA to check data quality through investigation before using in Data Science projects. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and three (3) years of experience analyzing extremely large and complex multi-dimensional datasets. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience managing and ingesting data from diverse databases; writing applications and interfaces that deal with database connection; working with partners to translate business challenges into Data Science problems; working with engineers and product managers to develop and deliver data science-driven solutions that bring real business value; analyzing consumer related data to conclude actionable insights; analyzing user data to identify behavioral traits and patterns; reviewing and keeping up with state-of-the-art research and development topics and methods; in executing duties, utilizing program languages including C, C++, Shell scripts and databases including MySQL and analytical tools including Matlab and R.
