Data Science Internship

Job Description
During the 6 months of internship, you will be assigned to a specific data science project and collaborate very closely with our live game teams and UA team. Together with other data analysts, data scientists and data engineers in the team, you will be able to deep dive into our massive player data in-game, prototype and deploy machine learning models to drive game revenue.
From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be called to:
- Mine large data sets at a fast-moving mobile game company and turn them into understandable and actionable insights
- Perform extensive feature engineering from the vast data in our data warehouse
- Prototype different ML models that improve our baselines
- Help contribute to our internal tracking, prediction pipeline and monitoring solution
Qualifications
Essential (must-have):
- Year off internship or last year of a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (computer science, applied mathematics or data science) with strong IT skills
- Proficiency in Python (esp. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn etc.)
- Strong in SQL
- Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms and practical implementation
- Autonomous and team player, detail-oriented
- Good communication in English (French is not mandatory)
- Passionate about video games and the economy behind
Desired:
- Kaggle experience
- Played our mobile games or willing to play
- Curiosity and willingness to try new things
