Project Goal (Pricing)
Improve game conversion and revenue by designing the optimization and customization of pricing in game with player data.
Description
The economy of a F2P mobile games relies on personalization and pricing versioning, in which we could change the game itself by adapting to each player’s spending capability and price sensitivity. All of that can be optimized using data and machine learning, in collaboration with the game’s developers.
Project Goal (ML Pipeline)
Our DS team is looking for a proactive and highly-motivated candidate as DS intern in the Paris office, to help with improving the internal machine learning pipeline on early stage player prediction models (e.g. new paying user prediction, early dropout prediction etc.), and extracting insights on the feature distribution and model performance for different games.
What you will directly contribute to:
- Mine large data sets at a fast-moving mobile game company and turn them into understandable and actionable insights
- Build scalable analytic solutions using state of the art tools based on large and granular datasets
- Design and execute a stream of analysis and tests to measure the impact of your solutions
- Master our internal analytic datasets and reporting tools
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to learn and help “tell the story” behind the data.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background (PhD or Master) in a field related to data science, machine learning, applied mathematics/statistics, econometrics or equivalent fields.
- Proficiency in Python/R (Pandas, NumPy, etc.), willing to practice.
- Familiar with database and SQL, or willing to learn.
- Experience with dashboard design and data visualization (i.e. Shiny, Tableau, Excel) is a plus.
- Autonomous, detail-oriented
- Fluent in English (French is not mandatory)
