Machine Learning Intern

The opportunity

The Unity Monetization team builds machine learning based personalized advertising solutions and technologies used in hundreds of thousands of apps. We process terabytes of data and deliver relevant content to hundreds of millions of users every day. Unity is investing heavily in deep learning and deep reinforcement learning on multiple fronts. In Helsinki, we develop brand new machine learning-centric products that provide millions of predictions each and every second to optimize the efficiency and profitability of user acquisition advertising campaigns. We are looking for Data scientist interns for multiple teams where you will get the opportunity to collaborate with data scientists and engineers working on solutions to ensure we are delivering the best for our users!

What you will be doing

• Build pioneering machine learning methods to redefine personalized user acquisition advertisement for mobile gaming
• Implement and drive the development of deep learning and online personalized targeting solutions with tech stack of Python/Spark/Tensorflow/Keras/Pytorch
• Work with machine learning-based real-time online decision-making systems on a large scale
• Convey ideas and guide execution to implement high-quality machine learning-based products

What we’re looking for

• You must be currently studying at a University level with at least 1 term/semester left after you complete the internship.
• Good understanding of machine learning and data science concepts and programming
• Experience implementing machine learning models with a programming language e.g Python
• Good communication skills and interested in collaborating with a team and building relationships
• Curious, able to ask questions and willing to learn

You might also have

• Experience with deep learning frameworks e.g TensorFlow or Pytorch
• Knowledge of tools and technologies for processing data at scale/ distributed systems (e.g. cloud infrastructure, distributed data processing, SQL)
• Familiarity with KubeFlow and Kubernetes
