KingsIsle is looking for a disciplined and skilled Data QA Engineer to help develop QA processes and software/tools, and implement and execute automated test scripts for our Data Warehouse. You will be responsible for creative and timely solutions to ensure data integrity and feature completeness.
Responsibilities- Creating, maintaining, and executing test cases for KingsIsle’s Analytic Data Platform
- Developing and maintaining programmatic mechanisms/software for data consistency and anomaly detection
- Working with developers to standardize test points/validation software interfaces, to aid in test automation
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrable proficiency in the following technologies:
- Using SQL (with emphasis on MySQL) for data auditing
- Experience with Software Testing methodologies
- Scripting and testing in a Linux environment
- Ability to work independently and in small teams
- Superlative communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent record keeping skills
- Attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies
Preferences- Professional QA experience
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Expect)
