Data Engineer (Barcelona, Malmö & Copenhagen)

I you know how to handle databases, you are a data enthusiast, and you know your way around games, then we need you now.
As a data engineer, you will set the standard for handling aggregated data and our databases. Maybe you come from a background as a BI Engineer, Data scientist, Database engineer or similar. Regardless of title, you are structured and analytical, always aiming to achieve great results. You are ready to use your experience to work on and improve our data & Analytics environment.
What you will do:- Participate in the design and implementation of our Data & Analytics environment
- Build data pipelines to ensure the data from various sources are stored and transformed into a format suitable for analysis
- Collaborate with other development teams and be an ambassador for our team and the vision on how to leverage our data
- Create and maintain high-quality data pipeline architecture
- Obtain relevant business and system knowledge to convert requirements efficiently to technical design documentation and conceptual data modeling
- Ingest large, complex data sets, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, improve data quality, etc.
- Follow best practices and existing guidelines but also push the limits
- Be hands-on
Who you are:- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, BI Engineer, Database Engineer or a Software engineering role with a focus on data
- Relevant education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, or Statistics
- Proven experience with ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, T/U-SQL, DataBricks, MDS, DAX, PowerBI and SQL Server or similar
- Experience in working with Azure, AWS or other cloud providers
- DevOps and CI/CD focus
- Experience in working with relational data sets using SQL
- Experience with datawarehousing, dimensional modeling and cubes
- Experience in building, and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
- Designed, built, and delivered production-ready data products at an enterprise level
- Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels
- Hands-on coding
- Has experience understanding requirements, stakeholders, and team members
- Agile mindset
We would love it if you had:- Big data: Spark, Hadoop
- Data pipeline and workflow tools
