Data Assistant (Python / Big Data)

Our Barcelona studio is looking for a Data Assistant.

The person in this role will join the Game Design & Monetization team and work towards providing the necessary data to give answers to key questions regarding user behavior.

Besides descriptive statistics and metrics, team requests will also include users clustering analysis, modelling and projections.

Responsibilities:

• Satisfy stakeholders data requests through in-house data mining tools.
• Deliver actionable KPIs and dashboards using industry standard BI tools.
• Work closely with game team’s monetization guys in order define, create and follow-up tracking specs.

Qualifications

• Excellent Python knowledge.
• Familiarity with data analysis frameworks and tools like Pandas.
• Familiarity with python plotting libraries like matplotlib, seaborn, bokeh, plotly…
• Solid SQL knowledge
• Knowledge in data architecture
• Proactive, resourceful.
• Good English level, both written and spoken
• At least Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering,…)

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with some of most popular BI tools (Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity working with Jupyter dashboards and writing widgets with ipywidgets.
• Familiarity with other plotting and visualization solutions like D3, C3, Grafana…
• Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or Git.
• Understanding of advanced statistical methods.
