Playtika is looking for Data Architect to join our Kyiv office on a full-time basis.

As a Data Architect, you will develop software high-level description with attention to data and system integration, data modeling, and feasibility, collaborate with Product Owners, BI, and Development Team Leads to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications, and provide technical guidance and coaching to BI engineers, developers, and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Determining best fit architectural design;
- Researching for new technologies;
- Collaborating with other departments in order to fully cover business needs;
- Perform in-deep technical consultation of developers;
- Writing well-documented high-level technical documents/specifications;
- Supporting teams on implementation and integrations, perform code reviews;
- Working on complex problems and performance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- At least 10 years of practical experience in the development
- At least 2 years in data architect/tech lead position
- Good knowledge of architecture/design patterns and styles
- Experience in creating a design for new applications/projects
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end data lifecycle across data warehouses, relational databases, operational data stores, BI reporting, and big data analytics.
- Experience creating conceptual and logical data models
- Expert knowledge of Java or Scala
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database
- Extract, Transformation, Load (ETL) development skills
- Knowledge of data technology products and components for Big Data (Data Lakes)
- Experience with data warehouses (Vertica, Hive)
- Proven technical writing skills
- Experience working with source control systems, code review systems
- Experience working with continuous integration and delivery systems, code quality automation systems
- Experience working with debugging/profiling tools, ability to resolve performance issues
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
- Understanding SDLC and best practices as gitops
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English
Nice to have:
- Python knowledge is a plus
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop
