We are looking for a Data Analytics Lead to join our team! The role will be responsible for leading our Data Analytics Team and partnering with all verticals within the organization together and analyze data to help understand player behavior, player value, and ways to improve our games. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with Lion Studios leadership - including Directors across teams and lead engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Be the leader for mobile game analytics, addressing both day-to-day requirements and long-term opportunities
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing tracking events, metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions within our games
- Leverage the vast datasets to model out in-game behavior patterns to uncover potential actionable opportunities
- Manage and mentor a team of skilled analysts and engineers to perform at their highest level
- Independently partner with Product/Engineering/Design teams for day-to-day analytic needs.
- Effectively communicate complex logic within and outside of analytics
- Lead analytic QA from start to finish; this includes managing our QA resources to ensure constant data integrity
- Be a champion for best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Constantly think outside of the box to inspire change with new testing ideas
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science or equivalent analytical degree (mathematics, statistics, engineering, data science, etc.)
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Broad understanding of the Analytics Ecosystems, including Data Engineering, Data Analysis/Visualization, Data Science, and building production models
- Understanding of statistical analysis and relational database structures, big-data infrastructure, and data analysis tools (i.e., Tableau)
- Ability to map
- Expertise with SQL, Python/R, data visualization
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proven time management abilities
- Hunger to learn and drive our team forward
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to be-self sufficient and execute quickly when given autonomy
- Flexible team player who will thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
