Data Analytics Intern

The opportunity

We are a collaborative team focusing on the efficient processing of bugs coming from some of Unity’s biggest customers. We triage issues coming in from across the Unity code base; some we fix, some we raise with other teams and all form part of our detailed metrics. Our work covers everything from process management to data analytics to software development.

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our data analytics efforts, in particular. This has the potential to inform decision making across multiple pillars within Unity. The team values teaching, learning and dissemination; we have significant expertise in maths, C++, graphics, mobile, SQL and more besides! It will be our pleasure to share this with you. This is an 11-month placement, starting in July 2022.

What you’ll be doing

• Analysing all aspects of the bug pipeline and sharing findings with others

What we’re looking for

• You are a student at a undergraduate level, looking for a placement year starting in summer 2022, in relevant subject area such as sciences, mathematics or engineering.
• Mathematical proficiency
• Passion and interest for Mathematics
• Conscientious approach
• Willingness to learn
