Empowering players to create is an exciting future for the gaming industry. At Electronic Arts we have many examples of players creating content, whether it be a skateboard park in Skate or fantastical mansions in the Sims 4. The future definitely has our players being more empowered to create with their imagination being the only limit.
To enable more players to become creators, we are looking for a Director to lead a Search & Curation team that will support and facilitate the user-created content search powered by machine learning and AI. If you have experience running analytics and data science teams, we want to hear from you.
You will collaborate with an experienced team that has collectively built and worked on games and backend services for more than two decades. You will drive a specialized data team focused on bringing the next game services to life.

Requirements:
Create a clear vision for the Search & Curation team to inspire your team and excite your game partners
- Support key stakeholders in the user-created content game ecosystem with Skate and The Sims
- Define and improve workflows for all involved in the search & curation experience for the games
- Develop plans and objectives for the team that align with stakeholder goals
- Build a high-performance team to deliver on the Search & Curation goals for the games
- Establish processes around experimentation in the space
- Set and report on KPI
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience from these industries: gaming, banking, consulting, telecom, or retail
- 8+ years of experience leading a multi-function analytics team across multiple products working with product managers
- Experience managing a team with multiple locations is a plus
- Ability to coach analytics talent to develop your skillset
- Experience with SQL: including extensive experience querying complex data sets
- Familiarity with a data visualization software package, e.g., Looker, Tableau
- Familiarity with a statistical software package
- Good knowledge of Excel including macros, pivot tables, vlookups, charts, and graphs
- Proven ability to work in changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
- B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering Sciences – Master’s Degree a plus
