Job Overview
Bowling Crew is a new casual competitive online game that gives players the chance to take on each other in fantastic bowling alleys.
The project has been successfully launched on iOS and Android, and despite the recent release, it is already played by millions of players around the world.
Now the Bowling Crew is small (about 20 people), but we have big plans for the development of the project, in connection with which we are starting to search for a specialist for the position of Data Analyst.
What will you do?
- Perform data analysis, develop dashboards and reports that present insights in an intuitive manner
- Understand patterns in data to identify key product trends and opportunities
- Develop metrics and methodologies to prepare analytical reports assessing the efficiency of launched marketing campaigns, game modes, events, and sales; seek out anomalies and insights allowing to increase the product efficiency
- Build statistical models to solve problems in the monetization space
- Present completed researches and fill in the analytical product knowledge base
What are we looking for?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail
- Knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics, e.g. statistical power analysis, significance testing, t-tests, ANOVA
- Data engineering skills to facilitate data movement, ETL and analysis
- Ability to present the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner to an audience
- Strong time-series analysis skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
What additional skills will help you stand out?
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Econometrics, Statistics, or other science and engineering fields
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a highly analytical environment, which can include data science, data analytics and visualization, finance, economics
- Solid understanding of user engagement and monetization strategies in gaming, entertainment/ecommerce service providers, or mobile apps
- Experience in programming languages such as Python or R
- Fluency in SQL or other big data querying languages
- Experience in predictive and prescriptive modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing stack in AWS or GCP
- Experience in at least one data visualization solution (Tableau, Qlik, MS Power BI, or other)
- Experience in causal inference techniques, experimental design and/or A/B testing
- Experience in machine learning frameworks
