Data Analyst

Are you ready for your next big career move in sports gaming? Nifty Games is seeking a Data Analyst to support our growing Business Intelligence team! Combine your love for gaming with a passion for business and big data, in a role that maximizes your analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of proven professional experience working with Data Analytics, within a fast-paced Tech and/or Gaming industry.

Requirements:

• Expert querying ability using large disparate data-sets
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python and or R
• Excellent data visualization skills and ability to present to non-technical audiences
• Experience in Data Presentation tools like Tableau
• A degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or a similar field from a 4-year university program

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to provide clear reports about engagement, behavior, acquisition, monetization, and retention
• Drive success metrics related to user growth and game participation by utilizing key drivers across the Nifty Games platform
• Monitor user activity and relay trend and predictive analysis to business stakeholders
• Oversee the smooth integration of determined business strategies onto the platform, by leveraging the various teams within the organization
• Create, manage, and maintain dashboards for different stakeholder needs
• Design telemetry events for new game features and new requirements
• Support decisions by providing standard and event-specific reports to help the team understand player behavior
• Build and maintain the data warehouses in cooperation with external BI development partners

Desired Qualifications:

• Highly organized with strong problem solving skills, able to prioritize and stay on task in a fast-paced environment
• Have a team-player mindset, comfortable with game development and live operations of mobile games
• Excellent communication and project management skills (verbal and written)
• Familiarity with current free to play card-collection games with daily multi-session behaviors; you play these games and know them inside and out!
• Passion for mobile gaming, sports gaming, and professional sports including NFL and NBA
