Miniclip is looking for a Data Analyst to join in our Lisbon (Portugal) Games Development Studio.
This is an exciting role for a mid-level data analyst to work with petabytes of data in order to improve the game experience of millions of players around the world.
As a member of the Game Analytics team you will leverage our data to drive actionable insights. Together with the game teams you will work to understand player behavior, game performance, and identify new opportunities that drive engagement and revenue. You will be responsible for the supporting all the data related endeavors of your games and bringing your analytical expertise to the table.

DUTIES
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conduct analyses that provide the business with insights on game performance and user behavior.
- Produce reports that help visualize your findings and include actionable insights and recommendations on areas to improve.
- Design, conduct and analyze A/B tests, leveraging appropriate statistical methods.
- Use large amounts of data to research player behavior and inform the development of new game features.
- Define and own data to be collected by the game and assure their quality.
- Drive forward Game Analytics processes and projects.
- Promote good data practices amongst your peers.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a sociable and hard-working person who enjoys working in a team. They will be passionate and dedicated about their work, with willingness to accept extra duties as situations arise.
Required skills:
- Relevant work experience providing data-drive insights or equivalent academic experience.
- Proficient in a domain specific language such as R, Python or Julia (preferably R).
- Robust mathematical/statistical background.
- Comfortable in writing complex SQL
- Strong data visualization skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate insights and present data driven recommendations at any level in the organization.
- Drive to innovate methods and explore new techniques.
- Very good written and spoken English.
