Data Analyst Internship - IPEX

The IPeX team (Inclusive Player Experience), which is part of EA's Positive Play Group, exists to support our developers by advocating for a more deliberate effort for inclusion and diversity in our products and game development processes. By integrating Inclusive Design into the foundation of how we make games at EA, we aim to produce relatable content and authentically represent players worldwide. You will report to the Director of Inclusive Design.
Responsibilities
As Data Analyst Intern you will support the IPeX team with gathering, validating, synthesizing, reporting, and analyzing data from a variety of sources and systems across EA.
As a Data Analyst intern you will report findings to explain current and past activity regarding inclusion and diversity in our games, make recommendations and collaborate with the team to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
We are looking for someone who can navigate EA's data landscape and
- Support the IPEX team with data analysis based on data across important game titles and other industry-wide benchmarking data
- Identify opportunities for standard reports and dashboards
- Identify opportunities for automating data collection from our games of inclusion, diversity, playbility and accessibility
- Analyze survey data to identify trends, "pain points" and areas of opportunity, and co-developing recommendations
- Logically present data results
- create relationships with partners and internal customers and understand their requirements to provide applicable results.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau/Mode Analytics/Looker/)
- Experience in data analysis tools (Excel, Decipher, Qualtrics, SPSS)
- Experience with experience with Airflow, R or Python
- Present and visualize data to inform recommendations
This internship is unpaid and temporary employment. It needs to be associated with a Swedish university education or any other type of education that has an internship period planned into the education plan, for example LiA. We are not able to provide relocation services for this role, so we will only consider candidates already residing in Sweden.
