Job Description

Within Ubisoft's International Headquarters, our Legal team is composed of approximately 70 people, organized by division with dedicated lawyers for each area of expertise.

In this team, you will join the Data & Privacy division (about 10 lawyers – Europe, NCSA & APAC) whose mission is to participate in the creation of an innovative and privacy-friendly environment in compliance with regulations and the needs of the teams, while pushing the limits of imagination and technology.

As the Data Protection Officer Worldwide, under the responsibility of the Chief Legal Officer, you have a leadership role for global worldwide privacy strategy and compliance. Your main missions are:

• You lead the Ubisoft Privacy program to ensure Ubisoft acts as a privacy friendly company (defining and implementing the global strategy, ensuring the compliance with the various data regulation, establishing the governance rules, etc.);
• You maintain the Ubisoft privacy reputation by developing strong relationships with the key regulators around the world, animating the Ubisoft’s Privacy networks, leading communication programs and being part of the privacy expert conferences;
• You sustain a business partners approach with the Ubisoft teams by leading the relationship with the execs and top management worldwide and organizing Committee Steerings with leadership teams;
• You improve the transparency and the controls offer to the data subject, with a UX & legal design approach, to keep Ubisoft as a Privacy leader company;
• You anticipate and design the evolution of the future of privacy in the videogames field (onboarding with the relevant stakeholders inside and outside Ubisoft, creating a Privacy Advisory Board, organizing Privacy events);
• You manage the Ubisoft Data and Privacy team composed of great talents (career paths, topic repartitions, ORK, training and incentive programs).

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you have strong experience in data privacy, including team management, in an international environment.

• You have developed a network and close relationships with regulatory authorities. Experience with a regulatory authority such as the CNIL is a plus!

• You know how to be creative and inventive, which is essential to support creative teams with many challenges.
• In English and French, both written and spoken, you can communicate with impact and influence with various audiences of all hierarchical levels.
• Finally, managing a team is not new for you, and your teams recognize you for your leadership.
