Cyber Security Manager

Overview
Bethesda.net is looking for a world class Cyber Security Manager to join a highly skilled team of senior security professionals responsible for security of AAA titles, digital platforms, and data in live and studio development environments. The ideal candidate has a proven record leading security functions with a focus on Vulnerability Management or Data Security. This position is critical to the success of the organization by providing high confidence in understanding the attack surface of ZeniMax’ S infrastructure. Prior game experience and an ability to understand the unique challenges facing the industry are a definite bonus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management and data security programs
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and security policies
- Provide visibility and improved response readiness across all vulnerability management and data security capabilities
- Provide detailed management level reporting and dashboards designed to demonstrate consistency against expected control outcomes and agreed-upon standard SLAs
- Regularly interact with senior leadership and IT/Studio stakeholders and work cross-functionally with other peers across the organization
- Identify roadmap, budget, and priorities relative to infrastructure and application security assessments
- Supervise and mature existing and new staff
- Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%)
Qualifications
- 3+ years managing a security team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate through all parts of the business.
- 8+ years of industry experience in either vulnerability management or data security
- Leadership skills which bring out the best in the team. This includes both direct leadership but also cross-functional capabilities.
- Ability to communicate at the executive leadership levels. Understanding how to translate technical gaps to business risk is critical for communication in this role.
- Experience with various regulatory frameworks including SOX, PCI-DSS
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about a wide range of gaming and technology/digital trends
Preferred Skills
- Previous game industry experience
- Certifications in one or more of the following: CCNA, CCNP, GSEC, CEH, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, or Security+
