THE ROLE
The VOID is a fast-growing company, and we need a talented Customer Care Representative to help us to succeed as we charter our path to the future. This person will join our Guest Services team in the VOID Call Center. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in customer support and is organized, creative, motivated, and flexible. Help us build the future of The VOID!
- Provide extraordinary customer service via inbound phone calls, email or chat
- Respond to incoming internal and external customer requests quickly, proficiently and professionally while meeting specific quality expectations
- Answer customer questions and resolve customer support problems related to billing, account management and troubleshooting
- Thoroughly describe and document work using customer support ticketing systems
- Escalate customer support tickets to other support groups, managers, localized leadership groups or location booking partners as needed
- Maintain confidentiality, protecting private and proprietary details
- Guest-facing operations as needed, greeting and assisting guests through VR experiences
REQUIREMENTS
- High school degree or GED required
- Representatives may be required work 30 to 40 hours a week
- Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays 9am-5pm shifts – flexible shifts mid-week, excepting occasional required evening shifts 3pm-9pm (may vary)
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal – to be considered, applicants must complete the writing-sample questionnaire
- Demonstrated commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with both correspondence and front-line customer service preferred
- Adaptability – Ability to pivot with frequent changes
- Analytical thinking and ability to problem-solve independently
- Attention to detail – Precision and consistency in documentation and responses are key
- Initiative – Willingness to take on responsibility and challenges
- Dependability – Reliable, responsible, able to manage time and tasks independently
- Experience with helpdesk systems like Zendesk or Freshdesk a plus
This is a contract position, anticipated to be 3 months in length with a possibility of extension.
Compensation DOE: $12-15 hourly
