Summary

Based onsite at our Summerlin, NV headquarters, the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to develop competency-based training courses based on key products and Aristocrat initiatives, ideally with a casino-background. You will have the opportunity to combine your passion for instructional design and technology to drive Aristocrat employee and customer performance. You will have excellent communication skills, ability to think independently, and proven instructional design experience. You love to learn!

Pay Range

$54,031-$100,344

What you'll do

• Apply best practices and principles of curriculum development, creates clear, concise learning objectives.
• Design and produce materials for engaging learning experiences in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, eLearning, and multimedia to support communication and learning needs.
• Conduct needs analysis to identify key behaviors that will impact a desired goal.
• Work jointly with key business stakeholders to implement a learning strategy, based on business processes, necessary skills, and readiness that aligns with the business initiatives.
• Collaborate with a team of instructional designers, technical trainers, and developers to bring learning to life.
• Manage instructional design projects from intake to completion.
• Work with Trainers to ensure that all learning materials are up to date.
• Evaluate training methodology and delivery technology, documents findings, and lead efforts for continuous improvement.
• Review and analyze the feedback of the curriculum and trainers through evaluations, trainer input, and business stakeholder feedback.
• Implement adult learning theory, models, and methods.
• Maintain SharePoint sites with updated release notes, training videos and documentation.
• Implement design for usability principles for best learner experience.
• Communicate and collaborate with project team to ensure successful learning outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Training, English, or a related field preferred.
• Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics (D365) experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with instructional design and development.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Bloom’s taxonomy and developing assessment questions based on levels 1-3.
• Ability to translate technical language into language suitable for the targeted audience.
• Minimum of two-to-five years of experience in analyzing and developing technical training.
• Experience using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, Camtasia, InDesign, and other tools like Microsoft Office Suite to create and update training.
• Must be self-motivated and able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized.
• Manage competing demands and manage project timelines.
• Excellent business writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, work through open-ended situations, and prioritize requests.
