You are a subject matter expert in one of three areas of game development.

Function & Responsibilities

  • Develop the instructional strategy for either the Game Design, Game Programming (Unity based) or Art (Blender) branch of our curriculum.
    • Work symbiotically with peer Curriculum Designers
  • Create, Assist and Review the design and building of courses and modules, creating innovative learning experiences that meet the accessibility and quality specifications and align to the standards and parameters established at Endless Studios
    • Manage Course/Module development within your domain for both online and onsite consumption
  • Ensure academic and quality standards as well as Endless Studios vision and mission are reflected in all aspects of the student experience
    • Ability to develop new or update existing documentation and written content in learning modules
  • Ability to develop curriculum in a timely manner based on clients needs and timelines.
  • Assists in the development of contextually rich, engaging, and objective-driven courses that focus on applicable real-world/workplace skills
  • Create evidence-based curriculum development strategies to the design of your domain branch, as it will always be growing and evolving
  • Develop and reviews curricular materials, including learning objectives, and other relevant documentation
    • Ability to ideate training content and learning
    • Test/Pilot programs as needed and measure feedback, make changes as findings dictate
  • Provide feedback to our Curriculum Producers to make sure that the lessons/modules/courses meet the quality and standards
  • Develop trainings/workshops and resources for mentors, course/module designers, and other content creators to improve instructional practices and course design; create a knowledge repository for instructors to assist with online teaching and learning tools; develop tools and handbooks for new and continuing mentors
  • Partner with internal stakeholders at Endless Studios and Endless Network to complete analysis and guide learning content development which ensures learning content is always aligned with business needs, scalable, and effective
  • Assist with competency mapping and other possible grant initiatives that increase access to development opportunities
  • Collaborate with other Subject Matter Experts

Our Ideal Candidate has:

  • Thorough understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and test development
  • Thorough understanding of project management, needs assessment, and risk management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision
  • Advanced critical thinking, analysis, and synthesis skills
  • Advanced skills in planning, organizing, and self-management
  • Ability to facilitate collaboration, support, and approval from a variety of stakeholders
  • Expert written communication skills; proven experience writing clearly for a variety of global and age audiences about your domain

Rockstar status if you have:

  • Prior games industry experience
  • Familiarity with game making production processes and tools (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, Figma) and/or educational experience resources and platforms around these tools.
  • Knows Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite or other learning platforms
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe PDF documents
