What we need:
We’re looking for an experienced programs manager and researcher to support 31U’s culture initiatives ranging from our lecture series, cultural advisory program, clubs, affinity groups, tutorials, remote connection opportunities and other initiatives that align with our 31U Core Values: trust, innovation, growth, excellence, and representation.
- Support and champion the goals, vision and strategy of the 31U Global Culture Department, the Director of Global Culture Development and 31U senior leadership working on behalf of Culture at 31U.
- Report to and assist the Director of Global Culture Development with varying levels of responsibilities.
- Help execute 31U-Global Culture priorities across global studio locations. Engage in a way that allows everyone to move forward together in accordance with our studio core values and business needs of the game.
- Be deeply involved as owner and co-creator in culture programming, scheduling, engagement, communications, and documentation.
- Maintain understanding of 31U culture, values, initiatives, and philosophy for culture.
- Engage in focused research to create live and virtual learning opportunities for the team to evolve in ways that we promote in our 31U Values statement.
- Participate in and/or lead various cross-domain culture initiatives.
- Engage in team brainstorming activities and playtests to understand the product we are building.
- Assist in closing the loop regarding cultural advisor feedback process for our game.
- Build healthy, collaborative relationships with local and global team while fostering an inclusive environment.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity through effective communication, problem-solving, risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Who you are:

- Your education, skillset and/or work experiences have centered around project management, event planning, education, research, writing, and / or cultural studies.
- You are organized, a loop-closer, self-starter, accountable, curious, a lifelong learner, collaborative, a team player and happy to work autonomously to move initiatives forward.
- You are friendly and open-minded and enjoy engaging with diverse types of people.
- You enjoy facilitating group experiences or workshops.
- You are experienced with producing virtual and/or in person events to build culture and/or community.
- You have experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Google Workspaces, Confluence
- You are an experienced managing projects for both short and long iterations.
- Interested in learning more about video game and culture development in a AAA studio.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $69,000 and $97,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
