Get to know the role
Job Title: Credit Analyst
Job Summary: The position reports to the Manager of Accounts Receivable and Credit and requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong organizational and prioritization abilities, and a focused attention to detail. In this position, you will assess the financial and credit risk of TPCi’s various business partners, including our domestic and international resellers and direct retailers, licensing partners, and vendors. The position works independently and under general supervision analyzing financial statements, various credit reporting and monitoring services, and other relevant information to make an informed and reasoned credit decision. The position is also responsible for the monitoring and timely collection of an assigned Accounts Receivable portfolio, and for the calculation and communication of multiple monthly and quarterly marketing Co-op program results, in addition to other supportive duties. This role requires an AR professional who possess thorough research skills, discretion, and attention to detail and must be confident in making fast, well-reasoned decisions with minimal supervision.

What you’ll do
- Analyzes credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to identify the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit (compares to similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability, and credit histories).
- Uses computer software to further evaluate customers financial status and produce financial ratios.
- Compiles information and composes reports detailing the degree of risk involved in loan or credit request; recommends approval or denial based on results.
- Sets interest rate and minimum or maximum term of repayment for customers based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity.
- Determines the expected profitability of loans by analyzing a businesss financial data including quality of management, income growth, and market shares.
- Resolves customer complaints and verifies transactions through consultation.
- Identifies delinquent accounts through the review of individual or commercial customer files.
- Support the larger Accounts Receivable team with daily tasks as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant job experience.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as analysis software.
- Basic understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies used in credit analysis.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and problems.

- Base salary range: 70000.00 - 105000.00 $. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates qualifications and experience uniquely.
