Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing)
Storm8 is a mobile social gaming studio based in San Mateo, CA focused on delivering fun casual games to a wide audience. We’re looking for a full-time, hands-on, results-driven Creative Strategist to help us promote our current and next generation of titles. An ideal candidate is comfortable with everything from brainstorming sessions for ad ideas to developing new strategies within the paid acquisition space and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with art department and user acquisition to conceptualize effective advertising campaigns for our mobile games
- Write clear creative briefs for outsource agencies
- Produce a continuous supply of new creative concepts
- Determine next steps for iterations on successful creatives
- Use A/B testing to determine best practices for user acquisition
- Help lead internal creative brainstorms
- Monitor creative performance on a regular basis
- Maintain a database/log of creatives and what has/has not worked in the past
- Awareness of the ever-changing performance marketing space
Minimum Qualifications - 3+ years experience with performance marketing, especially with Facebook, Apple, and Google
- 3+ years experience in creative marketing—branding, advertising, etc.
- Portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns that you’ve been a part of
- Very organized, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Aware of social media trends and pop culture phenomenons that apply to our audience
- Mobile gaming industry experience and/or passion for gaming in general
- Empathy for users and a desire to better understand what makes our players tick
- Passionate about the creative aspect of performance marketing
