Are you looking to lead a team of talented, creative designers and drive impactful marketing designs to excite and delight our customers? Prime Gaming is an Amazon Prime benefit offering members free content for their favorite games including full games that you can keep forever, in-game content, a free monthly subscription to your favorite Twitch channel and other fantastic gaming benefits. Prime Gaming is seeking an exceptionally skilled and enthusiastic Art Director to join our Marketing team and help grow the creative vision for both our content and brand pipeline.

Your primary focus will be leading and managing creative campaigns and visual designs that raise the bar for Prime Gaming and showcase our deep and extensive library of content offerings. You will collaborate with our marketing, brand and ops leadership as well as UX and product teams to ensure all creative campaigns meet and deliver on the Prime Gaming brand positioning, pillars and quality standards. You will manage a team of visual, motion graphic designers, video editors and a team of creative service agencies to manage creative development, the production pipeline, ensure optimization and operational excellence. Successful candidates have demonstrated a history of managing teams and projects against business goals and delivering creative works exceptional world-class designs. You understand the complexity of marketing and know how to set the visual standards for our Prime Gaming brand. You will showcase strong organizational skills, web expertise, design aesthetic, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail. You will inspire the creation of new visual styles and guide brand work that connects with our customers. You will have lead in developing opportunities to challenge our entire team on a high level across many mediums including photography, video, and illustration.

Responsibilities:
· Lead cross-team conceptual development; be a strategic thought leader in developing creative that connects emotionally and personally with gamers around the world.
· Push the limits of visual quality for Prime Gaming marketing best practices for static, video and motion graphic visuals
· Maintain a high volume pipeline of a creative service requests
· Contribute to guiding unmatched experiences as we open up our presence at physical tradeshows and events.
· Manage, oversee and maintain best practices for the teams internal Digital Asset Management infrastructure
· Oversee best practice for style guide and partner template visual refreshes
· Mentor and lead a team and drive the creative process from concept through execution through best practice marketing strategy
· Recruit, hire, develop, and retain an organization of outstanding design personnel

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 7+ years of design experience
· 3+ years in an design management role
· Strong portfolio with clear examples of marketing reels/ campaigns and branding
· Fluency in best practices for design & ability to effectively communicate strategic and tactical recommendations
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience creating visually stunning marketing campaigns
· Experience wearing multiple hats on a small team
· Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree, in design
· Passionate gamer with in-depth knowledge on the gaming market & audience
