Role Overview
We’re looking for a Creative Producer (hybrid) to work with the Second Life Studios team that can take various initiatives from concept to becoming a reality. The Second Life Studios team works with incoming creative requests that seek to leverage the unique capabilities of Second Life as the leading virtual world platform. As an independent contributor, you’ll be responsible for sorting through all of the creative resources available from a team of highly skilled content creators and turning those into finished products.
This role reports to the VP of Product Operations and works with Product Operations and Marketing to bring various teams together to create a vision and project timeline with customers’ projects along with managing communication between internal and external customer stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position that includes remote and in-office work. The expectation is that you will work from the Duluth, GA office 3 days per week, although this may change based on business needs.

As a Creative Producer, you’ll utilize your experience and knowledge to successfully drive key projects in Second Life Studios. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of people across Product Operations, Marketing, design, and other cross-functional teams to build products and new experiences that will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the original metaverse.
What We’ll Create Together
- Clarify, simplify, prioritize, and deliver impactful projects and features by leveraging your product management, technical knowledge, and business acumen. You will assist with managing the production of new content and experiences in Second Life from concept through completion, as well as product updates and revisions
- Overseeing, planning, and executing projects for the Second Life Studios team: production schedules, resourcing, and quality assurance against quantifiable goals. Immerse yourself in Second Life to attain a deep understanding of the feature set and use cases and learn the culture by getting to know the user community
- Liaise with and manage relationships with current and prospective clients or business partners, setting expectations and both giving and receiving feedback.
- Opportunities within the company, assist the Product Operations Team in the creation and management of strategic plans and influence technical strategy in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals
- Collaboration across teams to define and prioritize easy-to-use product features that enable a delightful user experience to drive revenue, adoption, and usage
- Identification of key needs and defining the product strategy with internal teams, helping to develop the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer
- Cultivate collaborative and productive working relationships with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and embrace healthy conflict rooted in mutual respect and trust
What You’ll Bring to the Team

- 2+ years of professional experience with 1+ years experience in a product/ project manager and or producer role with teams within the content production, and/or virtual video game industries, creating top-quality content, material, and experiences
- A professional portfolio that shows your best creative work
- Experience with metrics, goal setting, experimentation, and growth-oriented development
- Owning advanced level skills with G-Suite products (i.e. Slides and Sheets)
- Professional understanding of project design & software development pipelines with knowledge of JIRA / Github is a plus
- Strategy and execution. Seeing your projects ship, scale, and make a measurable impact on customers’ lives fuels you
- You rally and support the teams around you to meet their commitments to each other and to our customers
- Ability to assess the feasibility and effort levels of producing new content
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- You thrive on being engaged at all levels of the project, possessing an extreme sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability to see a project through from start to finish
- Assertive and motivated team player, able to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership. You can recognize healthy conflict and leverage it to guide the best outcomes for users and the business. You can define project scope, objectives, and deliverables to meet the needs of the project
- Proven ability to work synchronously and asynchronously in a remote environment
- Drawn to solving challenging problems, navigating ambiguity, countering skepticism, and not afraid to fail in the name of learning what works best over the long term
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance current and future business needs versus customer desires
- A deep empathy for the end user and buyer challenges is a must, balanced with a strategic understanding of business objectives

The Fine Print
Pay Transparency Notice
The Company’s Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and equitable pay along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. Depending on your U.S. work location, the full compensation band for this position can range from $29.00 - $40.00/hour + RSU equity incentive plan + generous benefits program, including comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Actual base pay within this range is dependent on many factors, including experience, competencies, skills, internal equity and calibration to market data. Our compensation philosophy includes a location-based strategy, which means that the starting salary within this range will be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position is filled. Your talent partner will share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
