Creative Lead (VR)

You will be a part of the creation of a first-ever VR/AR World of Science and Technology experience; a collaborative Virtual and Augmented Reality gaming platform between industry leading scientists and universities for one of the world’s biggest industries. We are seeking a full-time Creative Lead to join our dedicated team. We need your expertise in creating fun and engaging game systems to thrill a whole new audience of scientists. We believe that VR and AR are the future of scientific research and edu-cation and would like you to be a part of our future.

Responsibilities:

• Lead of the creative department (this includes UI Art, Environment Art, Concept Art and all other creative teams)
• Create interfaces that look great and are user-friendly as possible
• Create prototypes and realize them in close cooperation with the programming team
• Ensure a professional look and feel of all realworld one products.
• Communicate design concepts with all stakeholders and drive them forward to great products

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual creativity in various fields of 3D design.
• 3+ years of experience working in visual media with a focus on user interface
• Formal education in Game Design, Concept Art, Environment Art
• Experience in developing UI- Software for shipped games, software products, or web applications
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other 2D illustration programs
• Must be concept-driven and able to come up with multiple solid ideas, pitch them, absorb feedback, iterate, and then see them through production
• Proactive work ethic and capable problem solver who is not afraid of big challenges
• Proficient in one of the major 3D packages (3DS Max, Maya, or other)

Desirable requirements:

• Unreal Engine 4 knowledge or equivalent game engines
• Console development experience
• VR experience as a creator or user
• Fluent in German
