Krafton houses several production studios that develop a wide range of game titles from PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, The Callisto Protocol, NEW STATE Mobile, PUBG Mobile, PUBG Esports, and other riveting upcoming new games. Our efforts at the Creative Center are oriented towards the vision of contributing to the success of these games and offering unforgettable experience for our players.
Who We Think Would Be A Great Fit!
Head of Creative Americas will be responsible for end-to-end brand and marketing creative, including creative strategy, planning, and production, to support Krafton’s various game IPs. You will liaise and collaborate closely with our publishing team and game studios in the Americas to create global and regional creative work that players will directly see. Be a partner with brand marketing to drive the success of Krafton’s game IPs and get your creative juices flowing in establishing the vision and roadmap for your department. You will be reporting to the Head of Creative Division at Krafton HQ.
Success in year 1 in this role entails:
- Build a strong team that Creative Center can entrust to service requests from various teams.
- We provide the highest quality creative support and asset creation for games and campaigns while building close partnerships with various internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Creative Strategy and Vision: Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Product Management to establish creative strategy for each Krafton game IP.
- Creative Process: Establish a creative production process and pipeline that supports development and publishing of all game marketing assets, leveraging both internal and external resources.
- Production and Execution: Lead, manage and develop the creative resources (internal and external - design, video and brand creative) for a portfolio of games ensuring on time, on budget delivery
- Creative Leadership: Assess challenges, effectively communicate guidelines and processes, accountability and resolution progress to team, partners and leadership
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders (e.g. marketing, sales, product, studios) to ensure that creative aligns with overall business goals and objectives
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of artists, editors, capture artists, visual designers, sound designers and other creative professionals to develop and produce high-quality content across various platforms and formats (e.g. video, social, digital mobile, etc.)
- Capabilities Management: Scout and develop relationships with external talent and partners to bring new agencies and partners to the organization
- Functional Ownership: Manage budgets, schedules, and other operational aspects of the creative production process
- Thought Leadership: Maintain craft leadership by identifying creative trends and opportunities in the entertainment/gaming industry and implementing strategies to stay ahead of the curve
Qualifications
Technical
- 12+ years of experience in marketing creative, with 5+ years of building, managing, and growing multi-person teams as a senior-level Creative Director in creative agencies, production studios, or entertainment/game companies
- Strong understanding of the creative production process for marketing of game, tech, or entertainment products and IP
- Well-versed in organizing and managing complex cross-functional stakeholder environments, as well as being the owner of external vendors/partners/agencies.
- Experience and comfort with measuring effectiveness/efficiency through creative data analysis for fast challenge, fast failure, and fast growth

- A go-getter mindset for creating best-in-class creative work that awes players and/or fans
- Knows how to proactively achieve alignment with key stakeholders for organizational management and creative quality control
- Flexible and clear communication skills and the ability to find a solution in a timely manner when working with other teams
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Close communication and reporting with the Head of Creative Division
- Understanding, embodying, and advocating Krafton’s values and team’s goals

The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience, education, skills, and location.
Salary Range: 180,000-300,000
