Job Overview
Snail Games USA is seeking a visionary and results-driven Creative Director to lead our creative production efforts across a diverse slate of game titles. This role will be instrumental in defining, overseeing, and executing the creative vision for all marketing and promotional content, ensuring it captures the essence of our games and resonates with audiences worldwide.
The Creative Director will manage a talented team of designers, editors, and creatives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to produce visually stunning, innovative, and sales-driven content. This role is pivotal in delivering the creative assets that drive player engagement and support the growth of our game portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Vision and Strategy
- Define and maintain the overarching creative vision for all Snail Games marketing content, ensuring it aligns with each game’s unique identity and audience.
- Oversee the production of trailers, developer diaries, gameplay videos, paid media assets, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to deeply understand game features and translate them into compelling creative campaigns.
Content Development and Execution
- Lead the ideation, development, and execution of high-quality creative assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Manage the workflow and production schedules of the creative team to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Establish benchmarks for creative excellence, ensuring content consistently exceeds expectations in design and storytelling.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Directly oversee and mentor a team of graphic designers, video editors, and other creative professionals.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director and other departments to integrate creative efforts with broader marketing and community strategies.
Operational Efficiency
- Optimize team workflows and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Implement processes to evaluate and improve the efficiency of content production.
- Regularly assess team capacity and recommend adjustments to meet growing demands.
Qualifications:
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, ideally within the gaming industry.
- Proven track record of delivering creative campaigns for both indie and AAA game titles.
- Experience managing high-performing creative teams and overseeing multi-faceted content production.
Skills
- Deep understanding of video game audiences and how to craft content that engages and excites them.
- Expertise in visual storytelling, video production, and graphic design principles.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Tools and Technology
- Proficient in industry-standard design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation tools, and gaming engines is a plus.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
