Role Overview:
Roblox is looking for an experienced Creative Director to develop a vision for our industry-leading creative content. This hands-on role is important to delivering storytelling at scale while raising the bar across traditional and digital creative assets that resonate with all types of audiences. As the Creative Director you will work with the creative team and partners to deliver exciting and engaging content. You'll provide a vision, define scope, develop timelines, manage budget, facilitate reviews and communication, and ensure projects are delivered to specifications. You will also engage with all levels of contributors while working with different types of creative professionals and creative outputs. You'll demonstrate and can motivate those around you, prioritize work from multiple stakeholders, and resolve creative blocks for the team.
You Will:
- You'll direct, lead, and review creative across web, print, and digital content
- You'll investigate and develop new content creation models
- You will manage projects through the entire production lifecycle: planning, creative, production, and delivery
- Ensure all deliverables are meeting stakeholder expectations, including adherence to established timelines and budgets
- Facilitate project-related team meetings (i.e., kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews), and communicates action steps to the broader team
- Partner with legal and business teams to secure usage rights, assess risk, and clear work for distribution
- You'll report directly to the Global Head of Creative.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in the creative field for in-house creative design studios, marketing, or production company
- Hands-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand development
- Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Knowledge of 3D software like Maya, C4D, and 3DS Max.
- Professional experience with industry-standard creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Strong communication skills. leadership qualities and an eye for perfection
