Creative Director, Amazon Games

We are looking for a Creative Director to join a new project for Amazon Game Studios. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the creative vision, as well as collaborating with all disciplines and senior leadership to make your vision a reality.

Key job responsibilities
• Define and lead product vision with all disciplines of the development team.
• Collaborate and evangelize creative vision with external stakeholders, publishing partners, and senior leadership.
• Employ your deep knowledge of production pipelines and best practices to deliver compelling, AAA games.
• Develop and collaborate to define game hooks, narrative, and look and feel to ensure consistency throughout the product.
• Work with art, design, audio, storytelling, and tech leadership to review/approve final game systems, features, and content throughout all phases of development from inception through launch.
• Exercise decisive decision making and willingness to quickly course correct when necessary.
• Partner with project management and production leadership to ensure development processes are streamlined and that we deliver an amazing product on time.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ year of game development design experience.
- Creative Director experience on 2 or more successful titles/franchises.
- Previous experience managing and leading a design team.
- Experience managing and leading a design team on AAA products for both PC/console.
- Extensive live product and Games as a Service (GaaS) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- A passion for playing games of all genres to always be in tune with the competitive landscape.
- Deep understanding of solo, multiplayer and online games.

The base pay for this position ranges from $170,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
