Course Program Developer (China)

CodeCombat is searching for an experienced teacher and trainer to develop our local course program for training schools and public schools in Beijing. Have you ever wanted to work in the burgeoning e-learning industry? This is a super exciting opportunity to introduce our game-based coding education platform to China in order to serve students, teachers and parents.

Do you want to help the next generation of kids learn how to code? CodeCombat is building a new way for K-12 students to learn computer science by using real programming languages to play an adventure game. We help students learn how to write functions in order to control their ‘hero’ avatar, implement puzzle-solving strategies, and ultimately code their own websites and games. We continually research and experiment with new ways to combine gaming and education so kids can learn computer science with a smile on their face.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to course and program development including coding course localization
• Provide feedback to our global marketing and product teams concerning local needs
• Provide demo classes for new customers such as training schools, international schools and professional schools
• Collaborate with the operations team to provide course training for key customers
• Collaborate with the partnership development team to ensure customer success and satisfaction

Who You Are

• Experienced teacher (3+ years) from a public school or training school
• Computer science background (Python and Javascript)
• Fully understand the Computer Science curriculum in Chinese public schools
• Passionate about education
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
