The CM Sourcing Compliance Manager will be responsible for Global based efforts to drive strategic sourcing initiatives globally, including driving down cost. The individual will be responsible for global based analytics reporting to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and pricing analysis. Specific projects and reporting will be determined by the Global Strategic Sourcing - Director and Global Souring VP and will include driving, coordinating annual standard cost roll, value engineering proposals, review and maintaining data tracking of supplier overhead and costs, efficiency gains, feature reviews, trade-off analysis, support coordination and review of new product Introduction, review of current partners, and recommendations of future supplier partners. Responsible to support the total level four CM (Contract Manufacturing) supply chain for Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) as directed by sourcing director. Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization's operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain cost model and internal processes and will suggest improvements or resolutions to problems.
The position will interact frequently with Senior Director – Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) , Director Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS-CM), VP of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), Engineering, Product Marketing, Strategic Procurement Managers, Strategy teams, and cost analysts in various worldwide locations. This role will utilize high levels of critical thinking skills. The successful candidate will support a moderate to large team to procure mechanical and or electrical commodities and select and assist in developing the supply base with technologies and mechanical processes. They will help develop, implement, and manage the procurement strategies, process and tools, and system requirements to improve cost, quality and productivity. Additionally, support the sourcing director in managing suppliers by setting, measuring, and driving performance expectations while working with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to drive program deliverables.Pay Range
$99,204-$184,236What you'll do
- Use of statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports to drive the efficiencies
- Audit pricing, inventory and cost through the supply chain: Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers
- Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
- Use data to create statistical models that depict trends in the supply base
- Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
- Develop and maintain a centralize data reporting repository that is accessible to all Global Strategic Sourcing team members
- Process lead and coordinator for the annual financial standard cost role process
- Lead responsibility for providing detailed Global Strategic Souring analytical reporting, tools, templates, and forms
- Establish connectivity to key business systems to extract key company data
- Lead and maintain MRP/ERP data warehouse functionality and data parameters for the Sourcing team
- Understands and documents following for assigned sourcing responsibility:
- End of Life, Supply/demand capacity dynamics, trends and issues
- Cost structures of materials including impact of underlying material cost driver trends
- Methods and opportunities to lower total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Assist the team which negotiates value from multiple perspectives:
- Purchase price and contractual terms and conditions
- Total acquisition cost
- Prioritization and timing considerations
- Alternative solutions and/or materials
- Building meaningful work product and databases for tracking Supplier Business Review (SBR) structure, Annual Supplier Evaluations and Business Continuity Risk Assessments (status), Working Capital improvements across supply base (by supplier) and SKU cost movement.
- Support for BOM cost management including BOM cost maintenance, tracking, revision control and storage on the Strategic Sourcing SharePoint. Reporting to GSC finance and board level reporting via VP GSC.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, commodity management, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing for a hardware or Contract Manufacturing (CM) company.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing operations or sourcing environment.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics role in a manufacturing environment
