We are looking for a Market Research Analyst - Gaming to devise strategies and plans for both the game business and Global Chief Strategy Officers (CSO) agenda. The Market Research Analyst - Gaming is responsible for researching topics including market, customer and competitor trends, reviewing new business opportunities such as M&A or 3rd party sourcing and corporate performance. In this role you will formulate key recommendations for executives so that the company can accomplish business goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Research external data such as games, markets, customers, technologies, and competitors’ status from general profile to long-term strategy.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and research across a broad range of industry topics.
- Identify key takeaways based on research, prepares presentations; communicates findings to the team.
- Conduct ad-hoc projects and delivers findings.
- Assist the Corporate Planning team in completing, formulating, and establishing solutions, policies, and processes based on analysis, research, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Execute and monitors the strategy and plan with stakeholders.
- Develop proper strategies and plans to meet the business targets.
- Perform and completes deep dive analysis to understand and define business issues and to assist the Corporate Planning team.
- Devise frameworks for problem-solving.
- Analyze internal data and KPIs across the company.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. MBA preferred.
- 3 years of experience in strategic planning or project management.
- Proven track record of successful research, market intelligence or corporate planning experience.
- Experience producing and delivering presentations.
- Professional proficiency in Korean and experience working in a technology organization preferred.
- High-level of integrity, dedication, and motivation
- Strong sense of ownership
- Excellent research, analytical, critical reasoning, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on a team and collaborate with peers
- Strong time and project management skills
- Effective skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and quantitative analysis
- Experience producing and delivering presentations
This is a hybrid position based out of our Menlo Park, CA office.
Total compensation is salary plus annual bonus potential. Please note that the listed pay range is a general guideline only. We take into consideration your experience and qualifications when determining final salary. This role is also eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k), flexible and dependent care spending accounts, PTO, paid holidays and parental leave.

$112,660 — $169,000 USD
