Senior Communications Manager, Global Corporate Communications

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced corporate communications professional to join our talented team. The role, reporting to the team’s Director of Corporate Communications, will focus on supporting franchise communications, public affairs, social impact and positive play teams, helping to enhance our brand through reactive media management and proactive multi-channel editorial, advertorial, paid media, social and influencer activations.
In this role you will:
- Work with worldwide teams to drive corporate affairs strategy, key initiatives and multi-channel executions.
- Work with internal stakeholders and agency resources to deliver proactive/reactive media responses, press releases and briefing materials.
- Build strong relationships with reporters and EA partners, including industry bodies and opinion leaders to ensure that EA’s position is reflected across events and media coverage.
- Monitor industry conversations, public relations and political trends, threats, and opportunities and to develop powerful strategies to address them.
- Partner with teams to identify opportunities that showcase EA’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, social impact, positive play and environmental sustainability.
- Partner with franchise communications teams across Games and SPORTS portfolios to ensure narrative alignment.
- Work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional internal/external stakeholders to manage and mitigate crisis and issues situations.
- Own, develop and constantly evolve messaging across corporate affairs, social impact and positive play workstreams.
- Manage the reporting and analysis of communication activity and campaigns to show the impact of the team’s work to senior management.
Requirements:
- Passion to work in the gaming industry and desire to have fun!
- Strategic thinker with strong experience in crisis, issues and policy communication.
- Global perspective and experience working in complex, fast-paced corporate environments.
- Experience engaging directly with reporters to steer positive outcomes on a range of topics and issues; understanding of the global media landscape.
- Track record of working with global teams and agencies.
- Public Affairs knowledge and awareness of the wider political and regulatory environments.
- Experience in campaign creation, delivery and measurement.
- Exemplary writing, grammar, and content-creation skills in all formats.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
