The Opportunity:
Are you a copywriter that’s passionate about writing and pop culture? Do you have a few years of marketing experience and enjoy putting big ideas into writing and strategy? Would you enjoy pushing the mastery of your writing craft to create a range of content? If so, you could be a perfect fit for the Copywriter role at Team Liquid.
In the Copywriter role, you will write content informing a massive global community, including players and fans, expanding the pages of storytelling pages working closely with the Brand, Marketing, and Content team to represent a massive pool of talent.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Write clear, concise, compelling copy and scripts adhering to brand voice, tone, values, ideals, and visions when developing ideas and editing content to convey creative concepts for a variety of mediums and formats, including but not limited to:
- Copy: Brand material, announcements, creative briefs, pitch decks, taglines, treatments, microsites, Liquid+, and social content strategy documents.
- Scripts: Commercial, announcements, partners, social content, esports content.
- Articles and features: Interviews, esports, and community content on TL.GG.
- Social content: Social messaging, product messaging, email campaigns.
- Partner with Brand, Marketing, and Content team members in creative brainstorming sessions, building creative campaigns and creating visuals for copy assets for an ongoing slate of publishing ideas.
What You'll Need:
- A portfolio of best works (ideally published)
- 2+ years of professional writing experience (copy, script, editorial)
You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:
- 2+ years of previous writing/professional experience in the esports industry.
- Strong research skills.
- Strong editing skills.
- Good time management skills.
- A sense of levity. Esports is a goofy industry where we’re bound to make some mistakes. It’s good to have a bit of humor about you.

Benefits:
The salary range for CA is $24.00-$28.00 per hour
