EA is seeking an experienced Coordinating Producer to help build and drive Apex Competitive Gaming Broadcasts.
In this position, you will play an integral role in the planning and execution of all Apex, Competitive Broadcast content. You will be a key player in the development and execution of a wide range of content, including live events and video on demand. Expert production knowledge and communication skills are the key drivers of this role. The ideal candidate will have the production knowledge and expertise to thrive in the live and feature environments with the interpersonal skills to work with and lead multiple stakeholders simultaneously. With each partner we work with, each has their own goals and KPI’s, it will be your job to manage those needs and create a cohesive program that reaches the quality and engagement that EA demands.
The Coordinating Producer will be the driving force behind the creative development and execution of Apex Competitive Gaming. From format to talent and segment development, this role is key in the evolution of the Battle Royale genre. This not a position that will keep an existing production working, you will build the concept and continuously iterate along the way.
This is a 12 month contract position, with the potential to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Expert knowledge of Apex and the Battle Royale genre
- Create, lead and deliver live broadcasts at the pace and quality of an industry leader
- Manage and/or lead cross functional communications
- Expert knowledge of live production including rundown management, line producing, directing, lighting, graphics, transmission and overall control room workflow
- Develop and produce new franchise opportunities for Broadcast
- Drive and manage the pre-production, production and post production process
- Ensure proper budgeting forecasts, spend and accounting of all Broadcast productions
- Cultivate relationships with all stakeholders to create a best in class production workflow
- Expert quality control on all assets in production
- Full integration with the multiple EA stakeholders
- Master the EA voice to build extensions
- Constant monitoring of the gaming and video space to help determine Broadcast innovations
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in a producing role, delivering top quality content
- MUST have a passion for gaming and broadcast
- Expert knowledge of live video production
- Working knowledge of post-production process and equipment
- Exceptional communication, creative, and organizational skills
- Work well in a team, as well as on your own
- Be able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Be open to constructive criticism from peers and strive to make best-in-class content
