Contracts Paralegal

- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal contracts, including master service agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs) and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and ensuring that any potential issues are flagged for consideration internally within the group.
- Liaising with the group’s Legal, Sales, Information Security, Production and Finance teams to ensure that contracts are moved through the contracts workflow quickly and efficiently.
- Processing new contract requests and providing the necessary information required with a view to progressing contracts through to signing stage.
- Managing files and working independently to see matters through to completion.
- Supporting the Contracts, Legal, Sales, Information Security, Production, Finance and Tax teams with ad-hoc queries about contract status and other required information.
- Carrying out audits on the contract database and flagging contracts coming up for expiry/renewal.
- Arranging for the signing of contracts using DocuSign.
- Ensuring that contracts are archived correctly with the necessary information within the group’s customer relationship management (CRM) Salesforce system.
- Providing copies of contracts, and information regarding contracts, to the Finance team in connection with the group’s audit process.
- Identifying inefficiencies in the contracts workflow and working with the Contracts team to improve the function
- Any other related duties as required from time to time
Requirements
- Prior experience negotiating and drafting contracts required (either in-house with an international company
- or in a law firm).
- Educated to degree level.
- Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce.
- Understanding of basic legalese and standard legal contract terminology.
- Ability to balance commercial demands against legal risk.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team, across all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to be innovate and present creative solutions.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage but not required
