Job Description
The recruiting assistant is responsible for directly assisting the recruiter with full life-cycle recruiting: screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Status: Contract
Location: In-office at Morrisville, NC location (no remote telecommting).
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm (Flexibility required)
Qualifications:
- 6+ months formal recruiting experience
- Contact center/Technology field strong plus
- Gaming and Entertainment industry experience strong plus
- Experience with high volume contract staffing
- Experience with forecast recruiting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong professionalism and adaptability to high-paced environment
- Ability to work on a team while executing strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving mindset with dependability and ability to meet deadlines
- Understanding of a strong technical skillset and analytical approach to tasks
Responsibilities:
- Partners with Recruiter and hiring managers to determine staffing needs and best recruiting process for position(s).
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone, video, or in-person), makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
- Coordinates appropriate employment testing.
- Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
- Communicates important employment information during the delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
- Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as notifying the department of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
