Contract - Concept Artist

CCP London is the newest studio in the CCP family, and we are currently growing our team to begin production on a ground-breaking online sci-fi shooter. We are looking for CONTRACT Concept Artists (6 -12 month contract) to join our Art Team.

CCP Games’ London studio has a truly unique offering when it comes to culture and vibe. Perhaps originating from and it’s often been referred to as, the Icelandic effect. It’s impossible to ignore. Whether you have a degree or not, we are looking for someone who either a seasoned concept artist contractor or someone looking to make a step into the world of contracting. This is an amazing project in our London Studio and if sci-fi is your thing, we’re confident you’ll enjoy the briefs you’ll be working on.

Your tasks:
- A specialist or generalist in designing structures, and props both hard surface and organic
- A love of Sci-Fi
- Create high quality 2D & 3D concept art
- Create high quality preparatory 2D & 3D art for the production of game ready assets
- Concept mood pictures, drawings, and paintings
- Work closely with the Environment Art Team to execute on the artistic vision and realise believable worlds
- Assemble reference, mood, and art boards
About You:
- Strong understanding of art and design
- Great understanding of perspective, form, line, shape, colour, proportions, composition
- Good at understanding a brief and interpreting information to produce concept art that fits the requirement
- Great with Photoshop, illustrator, or similar software
- Knowledge of the development cycle
- Understanding of Blender, Maya, 3D Max
- Preferably based within a 2 hour time difference to GMT
- An amazing portfolio you are proud of
